My friends, I did it! Yesterday I exhibited my illustrations and wedding stationery at the Nonsuch Wedding Fair.
If you ever get to visit Cheam Village – my hometown. You have to visit Nonsuch Mansion.
Custom designed wedding bunting
*Mini fist bump* I did it! I exhibited my Illustration and Stationery at Nonsuch Wedding Fair! One of the popular South London Wedding Venues. With all the florists, wedding cakes and the harp setting up – I (partly) wished I was getting married again! The Wedding Fair occupied three stately rooms and it was an intimate affair. It didn’t feel like an overwhelming trade fair, I much prefer this smaller arrangement.I love hearing the couples’ proposal story. Some only got engaged three days ago! I enjoyed chatting to couples soon-to-be-wed; I know actually how they feel! Rob and I managed to plan a wedding within 6/7 months. I supposed we never stopped working. Our wedding was a family contribution. We all worked extremely hard to fulfil our big day. Mum owns a Thai Restaurant, ‘Songkran’ in the village – she did the catering. Dad arranged flowers and my bouquet. Speaking of which, Dad arranged the flowers for my table at the fair. You can see them in the photos, what do you think?
Dad arranged these flowers with a vase I found in the thrift shop.
Custom designed rubber stamps
I displayed my own Wedding invitation of the Tiger and Rabbit, custom rubbers stamps and Wedding portraits. Couples loved the Wedding fan program I’ve created for mine and Rob’s day on the last hottest day of 2013.
I love creating bespoke and personalised Wedding Stationery that reflects on the Bride and Groom’s love story. The Wedding Stationery should be a keepsake to cherish and celebrate a new chapter in their lives. I had many positive comments, I appreciated every one of them.
Wedding Stationery like mine is truly unique; many local couples and customers haven’t seen anything like it. For that reason, I’m glad I broke the mould. Robert, my hubby, was there to support me as always and tell the couples of our love story. During the fair, Rob and I did reminisce about our Big Day and how quickly time has flown since we were visitors at a Wedding fair.
I was never short of inspiring and talented business owners! To be honest, I didn’t eat very much and I was running on adrenaline and cake samples!
Next to me was James Taylor, a musician and solo singer. John Harris Wedding Films, whose video footage are so beautiful, wished I hired them for my wedding! Of course, there was beautiful floral arrangement from seasoned florists, harpist, pianist, Casino roulette, vintage cars, huge lighting props and a toastmaster! He looked very dapper.
